Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the 1 box chocolate cake mix, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, and 1 cup water. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
