    Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add the fish chunks in a single layer and cook until golden and crisp on both sides, about 4-5 minutes total. Do not crowd the pan—work in batches if needed.

    Pour the sauce over the fish and let it bubble, turning the fish to coat, until the sauce thickens and clings, about 2 minutes. The fish should be opaque and flake easily.

  5. Step 5

    Serve hot, garnished with lime wedges and fresh parsley, with sliced tomato and onion on the side if you like.
