Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Burrito
This sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito is a warm, satisfying breakfast wrap made with a savory sausage patty, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese wrapped inside a toasted flour tortilla. The sausage provides a rich, seasoned flavor, while the eggs add softness and balance, and the melted cheese ties everything together with a creamy texture. When the burrito is toasted on the outside, the tortilla becomes golden and slightly crisp, while the inside stays hot and gooey.

Step 1
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place 1 breakfast sausage patty into the skillet and cook it for about 4–5 minutes on each side until it is fully cooked and browned on the outside. Remove the sausage from the pan and set it aside.
Step 2
Crack 2 eggs into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon milk, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Whisk the eggs with a fork until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly bubbly.
Step 3
Place 1 teaspoon butter or oil into the same skillet and let it melt over medium-low heat.
Step 4
Pour the egg mixture you just whisked into the skillet. Stir gently with a spatula while the eggs cook. Continue stirring slowly until the eggs become soft scrambled eggs and are fully cooked.
Step 5
Warm 1 large flour tortilla in a dry pan or microwave for about 10–15 seconds so it becomes soft and easy to fold.
Step 6
Lay the tortilla flat on a plate. Place the cooked sausage patty in the center of the tortilla.
Step 7
Spoon the scrambled eggs you cooked earlier on top of the sausage patty.
Step 8
Sprinkle 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese over the hot eggs so the cheese begins to melt.
Step 9
Fold the left and right sides of the tortilla inward toward the center. Then roll the tortilla from the bottom upward to form a burrito.
Step 10
Place the wrapped burrito seam-side down in the skillet and cook it for 1–2 minutes on each side until the tortilla becomes lightly toasted and golden brown.
Step 11
Remove the burrito from the skillet and cut it in half. Serve while hot so the cheese stays melted inside.
