Delete your account

You can delete your Custrd - Fridge to Dinner account and its data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. You do not need the app installed to make the request. If you pay for Custrd Pro, cancel your subscription first — deleting your account does not cancel it. See "Cancel a subscription first" below.

Open Custrd, go to your Profile, open Settings, scroll to the Account section, and tap Delete account. We email a confirmation code to the address on the account. Entering that code deletes the account immediately — there is no waiting period and no further step.

Email support@custrd.com from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify that you control that address, complete the deletion within 30 days, and reply to confirm when it is done. Writing from the account's own address is how we confirm ownership, so a request sent from a different address will be answered with a request to write from the right one.

Deleting your account permanently removes: - Your profile, display name, avatar and account settings - Saved meals, favorites, folders and cookbooks - Your cook log and cooking history - Kitchen and shopping-list items - Nutrition settings, goals and logged nutrition - Meal ratings, reviews and private notes - Feedback posts, comments and upvotes - Follows, and your blocked-user list - Photos you uploaded to your own meals and profile - The sign-in account itself, including the email and password or linked Google or Apple sign-in

A deletion audit record is kept permanently for legal compliance. It records that a deletion happened and when, and contains no personal content. Some anonymized, non-identifiable data is retained for analytics. It cannot be linked back to you. Recipes you shared publicly to the community feed, and any notes or photos you contributed to the shared ingredient and cooking-tool libraries, remain available to other people with your name and account permanently detached from them. They are no longer linked to you or to any account. If you want that content taken down as well, say so in your deletion email and we will remove it.

Custrd Pro is billed by Apple or by Google, not by us. Deleting your Custrd account does not cancel that subscription and does not stop it renewing — you must cancel it where you bought it.
