Instructions

  1. Step 1

Slice 2 green onions finely and mix with 0.5 lb ground pork, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp cornstarch in a bowl until well combined.

  2. Step 2

Carefully open each of the 12 tofu puffs with your fingers to create a pocket, then stuff each with about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture.

  3. Step 3

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the stuffed puffs seam-side down and cook until the pork is browned, about 3 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Flip the puffs, then add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, and 0.5 cup water. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.

  5. Step 5

Cover and simmer until the pork is cooked through and the puffs are tender, about 15 minutes. The sauce should be slightly thickened and glossy.

  6. Step 6

Slice the remaining green onion for garnish. Serve the puffs hot with the sauce spooned over, topped with the green onions.
